Despite the many absentees due to illness, Georgi Benkovski Sports School formed 3 teams, as planned. Here were held 3 competitions in one day - March 23.
"Strategists" is the team that solved the mysteries with the best time - 17 minutes, and the participants are Alex Ignatov, Martin Mitrikov, Viktor Todorov, Stilyan Iliev from VII "A" class and Ivana Georgieva from XII "B" class.
The "Winners" team and the "Discoverers" team achieved a result of 24 minutes and 19 minutes, respectively. Shanaya Ilieva, VIII "B", Eva Minkova, IX "B", Denis Tsvetanov, IX "B", Kalin Todorov, IX "B" and Georgi Spasov, X "B" class competed for the team "Winners". Representatives of the team "Discoverers" were Hristina Chinova, XI "A", Velislava Petrova, XI "B", Raya Hinkova, VIII "A", Simona Plamenova, VIII "B" and Nona Ganovska from VII "A".
Personally, the director of Sofia University "Georgi Benkovski", Pavlin Stoyanov welcomed the athletes and encouraged them to show not only knowledge but also sportsmanship.
The intensive preparation of the students took place under the guidance of teachers Gergana Draganova, Kamelia Kesarska, Nelly Mihailova, Marinela Lyubenova and Svetlin Petrov.
A special guest of the competitions for athletes was the correspondent of the Bulgarian National Radio in Pleven, Latinka Svetozarova. She prepared a big report, which was broadcast on the show "Breakfast on the Grass" on the program "Horizon" on Saturday, March 26.
